Trademark Registration – Classification Guide Class 34 in Japan

I have decided to start selling electronic cigarettes. First, I have prepared impactful product name and logo for the new cigarettes I will launch, so I would like to register it as a trademark to prevent others from imitating them.

In that case, you must be sure to designate Class 34, which includes “tobacco” and “electronic cigarettes”!
Class 34 also includes various goods that are related to smokers’ articles. Let’s check it.

Considering the future product development of smokers’ articles, it would be better to designate other products in Class 34 as well. If they are in the same class, the cost is the same, but I wonder if we can also designate “batteries and chargers for electronic cigarettes” in Class 34…?
