Trademark Registration – Classification Guide Class 7 in Japan

I’ve decided to sell “vacuum cleaners”.
First of all, I’ve prepared an impactful product name and logo for my new products of vacuum cleaners, and I’d like to register it as a trademark to prevent others from copying.

Then, you remember to designate Class 7, which includes “vacuum cleaners”!
Class 7 includes not only machines such as vacuum cleaners, but also many products related to machine tools, motors and engines. Let’s check it out.

Considering the future product development of vacuum cleaners, I think it would be better to specify other goods in Class 7.

I see, “hoes” and “digging forks” are classified differently even though they relate to agriculture.

Yes, it is necessary to specify a separate class for such “hoes” or “digging forks”, because they are not machines.

Dish washers are in Class 7, but dish drying machines are not!
Drying apparatus for harvest and forage drying apparatus are not in Class 7 although they are used in agriculture!
