Trademark Registration – Classification Guide Class 24 in Japan

I start selling “blankets” made of new material.
First, I’ve prepared a product name and logo that seems warm and has an impact, so I want to register it as a trademark to prevent others from copying it.

Then you need to remember to designate Class 24, which includes “blankets”.
In addition to blankets, futons, and other bedding-related products, Class 24 includes many familiar products such as curtains and handkerchiefs. Let’s check it out.

Considering future product development, I guess it would be better to designate other products in Class 24 as well.
If they are in the same class, the cost is the same, but I wonder if “electric blankets” can also be designated in Class 24…?

Class 24 is a classification for textiles and textile covers for household use, etc.

Class 24 mainly includes textiles and fabric products.

It may be easier to understand if you imagine textiles and fabric products (other than clothing) used in daily life.

The main products included in Class 24 are as follows.

These products can be designated in Amazing DX and a trademark application can be filed.

Yes, such products that use electricity must be designated in a separate class.

Goods such as textiles for special purposes

Textiles used for special purposes are not in Class 24!

Let’s file a trademark application, designating goods in Class 24!

Class 24 is a category for textiles and textile covers for household use, etc. If you are a textile manufacturer or bedding manufacturer, please consider Class 24 first.
